Player Agreement
This Player Agreement applies to every person who registers or plays at Hanover Casino. It becomes binding when your account is opened and remains valid until that account is closed, on any device you use.
What does accepting this agreement mean?
Creating an account, funding it or placing any bet with us confirms that you accept this Player Agreement and our Offer Rules. How we use your data is set out in the Privacy Notice. If anything in these documents is unacceptable to you, stop using the site.
How do the games work?
- Every game includes its rules and paytable inside the game window. Please read them before you play.
- Outcomes in slots, video poker and RNG table games are set by random number generation. Every round stands on its own, so what happened before never shifts the odds of the next round.
- Real people deal every Live Casino game from a studio, with each hand and spin streamed to your screen as it happens. Each result logged in the studio stands as binding.
- If a game, server or connection malfunctions, any affected play or payout is void. Stakes on a void round go back to your balance.
Who can play?
- Players must be 19+.
- Players must be in Canada and can only play where local law allows it.
- Self-excluded players cannot register or play on an account with us.
Hanover Casino serves players only in jurisdictions that allow gambling under their own laws. Every part of our service follows Canadian rules on proof of identity, age verification and money laundering prevention. Our Age Policy sets out how we stop anyone below the legal age from using the site.
How do deposits and withdrawals work?
- Every balance, deposit and payout is in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Deposit methods: Interac e-Transfer, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, iDebit, Instadebit, Payz (ecoPayz) and eCheck.
- Withdrawal methods: Interac e-Transfer, Apple Pay, iDebit, Instadebit and Bank Wire / Transfer.
- Smallest deposit: C$10. Smallest withdrawal: C$20. Largest withdrawal: C$30 000 per month.
- With most withdrawal methods, payment takes between one and four hours, whereas a bank wire can take up to 12 hours.
- Hanover Casino adds no charges to your deposits or withdrawals.
- Deposits open only after we have completed KYC verification and a geolocation check. Our Identity Checks page has the details.
- Only payment methods registered in your name may be used.
How do bonuses fit in?
Welcome offers, Promotions and Hanover Rewards follow our Offer Rules. Those rules form part of this agreement.
How far does our liability go?
- We provide the site and our games as and when they are available, and cannot promise access without interruption.
- Hanover Casino is not liable for losses caused by issues with your equipment or internet provider, or by events beyond our reasonable control.
- We carry no liability for losses that follow when another person logs in with your credentials.
- Where law does not allow a limit on liability, that limit does not apply.
What is not allowed?
- Secretly cooperating with other players, or using bots, scripts or other automated programs to play in your place.
- Fraud, stolen payment details or abusive chargebacks.
- Holding two or more accounts, or playing on one owned by another person.
- Money laundering, or using the site for any other illegal purpose.
- Taking advantage of a game fault rather than telling us about it.
If any of these is found, we may close the account, cancel bets and withhold winnings.
How many accounts can I open?
- Each person can open one account.
- Provide correct personal information when signing up, and let us know about any changes.
- Keep your password private. Anything done while you are logged in is treated as done by you.
How do I make a complaint?

Which law applies?
The laws in force in Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada apply to this agreement and to any dispute about it.
Who owns the site content?
The Hanover Casino name, logos, text, design and software belong to us or our game partners. Their use is limited to playing on the site. Copying, selling or reusing them is not allowed.
Can this agreement change?
These terms may change when our services, the law or our partners change. Each revised version goes live on this page, marked with its start date. If you play on or after that start date, you agree to the revised terms.
